About

About Me.

I’ve had a love for cameras, photography, and video since I was 13 and received my first DSLR camera. I started out editing videos in iMovie and quickly moved to Adobe Premiere Pro when I entered high school. Since then, I’ve taken every opportunity I could to help others with their video projects. I helped friends create YouTube videos, I put together home videos, and I joined my school’s news club.

I studied video editing in college from 2019 to 2023. During that time, I used applications such as After Effects, Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, and Premiere Pro. I realized I loved working with all kinds of video editing programs. Due to my interest in learning new programs, I took on a fellowship with a professor of mine where I assisted in teaching high school students how to use Unreal Engine, a software used to develop video games. Knowing about my interests and my major, my professor gave me the opportunity to take photos and create videos for the program, which were then used to market the students’ videogame for events.

The opportunity to work on videos from start to finish while leading a team strengthened my understanding of different project needs. I was often working on short films for classes and my experiences gave me the confidence to become a better communicator and film editor. Because of my experiences, I would take great care to help get your story across.
